Polish Hardneck is an intense and spicy garlic. This one did extremely well for us this year, producing larger bulbs than our other porcelain varieties. This is a porcelain variety so the paper is creamy white with shades of brown and purple. The cloves are medium to large size in each bulb, with 4-6 cloves per bulb. Porcelain varieties are hardy and do well on the west coast.
